Topped off at 72° in Louisiana today. Was 29° last Monday (our obligatory 3 days of winter for 2019 covered). Nutria didn’t see his shadow, here comes Spring!

I was born and raised in Kansas City, MO, where the summers are blistering hot and humid and the winters are freezing cold. The Pacific Northwest is cold, dark and rainy for 9 straight months out of each year, with most places having no central air for the warm summers. Now back in GA, where the summers are hot and very humid and the winters are mild. I'll take GA. At least until I become an expat.RRP said:

I'm glad the Air Force moved me all over for so many years; no way I'd ever go back to where I was raised!

At least it's just the weather and not a real problem.

Took mine out on the weekend cause its been too cold to actually enjoy it the last few weeks. Realized how out of shape I am pretty quickly and how fun it still is too lift the skis at any given moment. Parked it with my hands still shaking and went and lit the egg. -
The last sled I had was a 90s Polaris 580 triple.

Nice, I had an XLT in the 90's too. My latest is a pro-r. Sooo much more comfortable and easier on the back now. A nightmare to work on though with all the fuel injection and electronics. They don't even have a hood to open anymore. Fix it during the week and ride it on the weekend. I'm getting older and hoping they come out with something that will last more than 5000 miles before being worthlessalaskanassasin said:The last sled I had was a 90s Polaris 580 triple.

I prefer to imbibe from the sidelines. Last time I rode with those guys someone broke their ankle with in 30 seconds of unloading from the trailer. Those things will get you places and at heights I don't prefer to be at.South of Columbus, Ohio.

Ouch! I agree though. If I wasn't from here I wouldn't live here now. After college I wanted to leave, but my wife did not. So we stayed. Several years ago the NY Times did an article in which they named my county as the 7th hardest place to live in the country! Huge disparity of income here.northGAcock said:
