Hi, new egg user here. My mom passed away last August and before she did, she discussed with my brother about a final Christmas gift, so out of the blue a limited edition XXL Egg showed up at my house. Needless to say I'm thrilled with the Egg and have been really enjoying it. Looking forward to trying out recipes and stuff. I'm mostly excited about the high temp capability it offers as my current grills smokers and oven don't go above 450 except for the rare occasion.
So far I've made 4 pizzas, 2 chickens, a batch of brownies, 1 brisket, two loaves of bread and a turkey. All were very good.

Your cooks show you know what you’re doing, with minimal learning curve on the egg. What other cookers did you have before the BGE?

My sincere condolences and welcome to the asylum. As others have said, she obviously loved you very much and supported your interests and hobbies. What a great way to keep remembering the loving times. If you are already baking bread and making pizza, briskets and the like, then we will simply sit back and enjoy the upcoming posts as you are off to killer start.Columbus, Ohio--A Gasser filled with Matchlight and an Ugly Drum.
