Man, I really love these. Can't wait to use them. They are made of what appears to be clay and appear to be nice quality.
The problem with a problem is that you don't know it's a problem until it's a problem, and that is a big problem.

Yep, and I have been doing so for the last 10 or so years. The problem with the natural shell is that they are imperfect, they don't sit right on the grill, in many cases they allow the butter mixture to leak out prematurely. Premature leaking is never good for anything. About five or so years ago I made a comment that someone should produce a reusable sheel that would hold everything in. Eureka! Someone did it.Large BGE - McDonald, PA

The greatest barrier against all wisdom, the stronghold against knowledge itself, is the single thought, in ones mind, that they already have it all figured out. -

What are your thoughts on the shells now that you have used them? I am presuming that you have put them to the test by now.Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

The one's pictured had more cheese (different blend) and I added some finely chopped tasso (cajun spicy ham) for a little spice.

Nice! I loved grilled oysters.Coleman, Texas
Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

The Loftin shells are really top notch. A great compliment to the BGE. Btw, they are not just for oysters. I use them for shrimp as well. The problem with a problem is that you don't know it's a problem until it's a problem, and that is a big problem.
