OT: Any general contractors out there?

Hey guys I am working on becoming a general contractor and was wondering if anyone had any tips for me. I have been working with a framing crew locally for the past couple months to get some better experience. I’m thinking residential but I am open to commercial.

TN. I haven’t been in the trade long professionally. I plan on working for a little while before.i have just done projects around for people and at home. Don’t have a lot of experience with building houses. I’m a little more interested in remodeling.

Check with the state for the requirements, every state is a bit different ....Best if luck
