Still too expensive for me. I love your product and it’s all I use so don’t take it the wrong way. When I get a chance to stock up from Ace, aka when they run a special on it,?I take advantage of it. Our local aces don’t carry it, I order it all online and have it shipped to the store. Honestly, I miss being able to get it from Firecraft. Five bags at a time and the price was right. 

I was able to get one bag of Rockwood and one of Kamado Joe.  One of our local Aces carries Rockwood,  most don’t so I got the Joe instead.

i have not used either so I will try them out.

The only thing more expensive that buying from us direct, is buying on Amazon or Ebay because of the commission.  And we are not cleaning up on it either......we lose money if we are shipping to the west coast.  That 3-bag box is a $3 box, then its upwards of $45-50 with UPS to ship that box out west from St. Louis.  Now imagine firecraft doing that from Philly for $7 less a bag.  That low price is why they are not is business anymore.....they were losing their a$$ on that deal, especially when you figure in the freight to take it from St Louis to Philly.

Stick with your local dealer vs buying from us direct.  Or come to st. Louis and load up from local dealers who do not have to factor in freight costs.

$17-20/bag....sometimes cheaper on the outskirts.  We have a weekly delivery route that hits all the stores, then some stores pickup at the warehouse.  Then if we have any damaged bags, we let those go cheap--but those are usually spoken for by restaurants, charities, comp teams, or staff/family.

Freight adds a ton......it's more than the wood itself.  It has to go from the forest to the mill, the mill to the plant, the plant to warehouse, then the warehouse to the retailer (and sometimes another warehouse/distribution ctr in the middle). 

You need Amazon's deal with the USPS .... the gov't loses money on every package but makes it up in volume.

I'm not sure.....it dropped off the site around noon on Friday.  The only thing I can think is that have some limit set up for online sales during a promo or over a holiday.  I'll be on the horn with them in the AM to figure out what's going on.  Even if that's the case, kind of crappy to completely pull us from the site over the biggest shopping weekend of the year because the locator can't even be used.
