Kalkan kofte?

Saw this on Instagram.  Looks like the Turkish version of a Juicy Lucy.  I tried to do a YouTube search, but I don’t speak or read Turkish.

This looks pretty gangster.  Anyone ever made/had this?

I looked around, and found that the most common translation of kalkan is "shield." Also found several vids. They are made from two large, thin disks of ground meat, 'bout the size of a small pie. Appears to just be beef, and there are various spices mixed in and some egg. That is pressed into large disks the size of dinner plates. There's layers of some sort of generic shredded white cheese. I'm going to guess the Turkish variant of kasseri.  Then cheddar, then more of the shredded white. Came across one comment that said mozz melts better. And lots of parsley before the top disk is laid on and sealed. Then rather heavily grilled. Always big enough for four portions, sometimes 9.

I did come across a video with Salt Bae.  I don’t necessarily know the ingredients, but I do know that there will be a dramatic presentation.
