Blackstone - Chipped Seasoning

Hey guys, need a little advice... I know this isn't BGE related, but I tend do to quite a bit of side-by-side meals with the BGE and blackstone. I've noticed one spot that has chipped in the seasoning (very small spot) on my griddle. Would hate to remove all the seasoning and start over, but I will if that's what is necessary. I know there are a lot of blackstone users here, and I just wondered if anyone here had advice/experience in repairing small damaged areas???

I had this happen the other day. Just lightly sand it down with high grit sandpaper and wipe it down with water. Then cook some bacon on that spot. It will start to reseason that spot.

This. Onions work well also.TEXASBGE2018 said:I had this happen the other day. Just lightly sand it down with high grit sandpaper and wipe it down with water. Then cook some bacon on that spot. It will start to reseason that spot. -
Yep, sand it or wire brush it, then apply oil and get the bare metal reseasoned. All good. You can still look at the video posted too. Haha.
Thanks @lkapigian!------------------------------

Thanks for the advice! The rest of the seasoning is in great shape, so I would hate to take everything off and start over - looks like this should do the trick.
