Turned out very good. Liked the coarse meat.
Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given a Mini to add to the herd.

Good to see your work.I've still haven't managed to get rid of the way too chewy bits, other than lots of trimming.Bought Cin Chili a couple of times. Tasted really good, but what i bought awhile ago had more salt than I needed.

Nice cook.
I've been thinking of chili too. caliprince said he wants chili when he gets back from his travels. Looks like he's growing up to be a proper Texan

If you want to try the original recipe from which Cin Chili was derived, here ya go. @Hotch posted about this a couple of years ago. Good stuff and very little salt (or none if you choose to leave it out). More work than the packet though. Don't know what would happen if you just threw everything in at the same time instead of in four different stages as called for.gdenby said:Bought Cin Chili a couple of times. As for Mickey's chili, it LOOKS great my friend, but... GIZZARDS?
I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!
