It's strange that the website won't let me select that location for a ship to. You could always call them and ask them to order SKU 8400772. I know that store has brought it through there before.TEXASBGE2018 said:

Now that's funny. Who was it that forgot left wings on the egg until they were burnt to a crisp? Was it @Mickey? I cant remember...Getting old you know and can't remember things. Now what were we talking about?Teefus said:
I used it a long time and found it to be perfectly fine, then the wheels fell off. I did a chicken that tasted like it had been through a tire fire. It didn't appear to be fully carbonized (the lump, not the chicken).KennyLee said:Don't get all the RO hate. I've used it almost exclusively (orange bag at HD) for the past year or so and it's clean (no odd remnants), starts quick, burns clean, and leaves no odd taste/smell etc. And I've use OO, RW and other highly touted lumps and really don't see much difference. I'd use RW if I could get it locally, but no one around me carries it, including my local ACE that I frequent weekly.

Yes, any Ace store in the US (including AK and HI) can order it from their warehouse and have it delivered to the store in 2-3 days. You can use Ace's site to try to find the nearest store, or the nearest store with in stock. Our website isn't up to date with all the stocking stores because we have no real way of knowing if it's on the shelf, or just there sporadically. Once we verify they're stocking it 12 months a year, then we add them to our site.Powak said:

Looking at the Ace shipment list, in the last 2 months, they have shipped bags to stores in Kennebunk, Winthorp, Portland, Dover Foxcroft, Limerick, Buxton, Scarborough, Bath, Gorham, Gray, etc. But go into any store or order online and have them order SKU 8400772.

Excellent! Got a couple bags at the Bath store waiting for me. Thanks.stlcharcoal said:

Been using RO exclusively since I got my egg. Since someone pointed out there is a sale on RW at Ace right now just ordered two bags with pickup this weekend. Unfortunately not going to get to try it till probably October with my schedule on any slow cooks.

My biggest problem is that I also have 2 baks of RO and 12 boxes of CharBroil Center Cut in the garage. So, wife won't let me buy more RW until I use the other stuff up. May have to do lots of clean burns in the next few months.Marshall in Beautiful Fruit Cove, FL.

Save the Center Cut for grilling. I only bought the one box to try out, but it works really well for getting clean smoke quickly. It's almost like using a gasser.SaintJohnsEgger said:You won't regret it.

Just so everyone knows you all are missing out. The best lump is: Jealous Devil.
Why? It does not fall apart when shipped. That's why they call it axe breaker. Burns twice as long as Ro & RW. Plus they have a new bag coming out that will revolutionize the lump industry. Best regards, join the ship

RO is used for beef, regular cook out food (burgers and dogs) as well as low and slow cooks here. To me, the difference between lumps is negligible in these scenarios.
RW on chicken and pizzas only, RO ruins these dishes while RW excels. -

@Jeremiah I resemble that remark but will let it pass in the true spirit of Wing-Ding 3. Dang- could be epic when the more experienced winger scores the winging goal. Have fun this weekend.Jeremiah said:

I got 2 bags of RW today for $19 something each. Good deal but I have to say I’ve never had an issue cooking great food on RO.

Thanks, just read all twelve of his posts. Somebody ought to let him know that while shilling a product, it's best not to come across as a d1ickhead.
