What do u guys think of Strawberry’s bbq rub? It is the first rub I was introduced to and I can’t get off of it. Is it as good as I think it is ? I’ve tried dizzy pig, and my most recent buy was Killer Hogs, which I thought was awful and tossed . I obviously prefer salty over sweet. U guys have any recommendations for me to branch out ?

No way I’m going to recommend a rub to someone who describes KH as awful. Harsh. Good luck. Eat what YOU like. Who cares what we think.

black, white, red pepper
cumin
a GOOD paprika
onion powder
garlic salt
honey powder
turbinado sugar
most of the above can be purchased in a 32 oz shaker on the cheap.
The paprika and honey powder will cost some coin.
The above you can tweak to your liking and it will make a pretty kick ass rub.

XLBGE / Stumps Baby XL / Couple of Stokers (Gen 1 and Gen 3) / Blackstone 36 / Maxey 3x5 water pan hog cooker

LBGE / Lang 60D / Cookshack SM150 / Stumps Stretch / Stumps Baby
