cubed thighs about 3/4 inchmarinade over night with2 tblsp hoisin1.5 tblsp dry sherry1 tblsp veg oil1tblsp cornstarchteaspoon sugarice cube size of ginger mincedsome dry minced garlic1/4 teaspoon 5 spicewrap in foil in small batches, fry a couple minutes in peanut oil, flip and another couple minutes. google says you can use parchment instead of foil, foil just looked easier and may help in some type of flash steaming, extremely tenderfukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it

That's like sous vide on roids ! Might try it some time.
I assume you deep fried the packets in a wok?#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX. -
had to use a small dutch chicken fryer pot, no wok at camp right now. outside weber would only go to 350 oil temp, was shooting for 375 but close enough. might be a good technique for wingscaliking said:That's like sous vide on roids ! Might try it some time.
