Picked up some gochujang at the store and used this recipe: https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/242123/gochujang-sauce/
Didn't have sesame seeds and used purple onion instead of green onions. Was not overly spicy but had a ton of flavor. Give this a shot it was fantastic!

Winner winner, mahi dinner.
We've been gochugang-ing everything here lately. Mahi will be next!

Awesome! What other gochujang recipes have you used? I'm looking for stuff to make with it. Thanks!HendersonTRKing said:Winner winner, mahi dinner.

Have been experimenting with it on chicken wings, thighs and tenders. Everything's been great. Cut it with rice wine vinegar, add honey, lime and lime zest, ginger paste, garlic chili sauce, ponzu, mirin -- it's been very impressionistic with no bad results and nothing that really can be repeated, as I'm using what's in the fridge and pantry. The things I've liked best are the lime and zest + ginger -- really adds a citrus zing to the punch of the gochujang.fence0407 said:

@fence0407 @HendersonTRKing I’ve been experimenting with a gochujang sauce based on most of those ingredients.
Biggest thing is to find your preferred heat balance between the gochujang and honey, and then I also add soy sauce, minced garlic and ginger, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and a small amount of fish sauce. The sesame oil and fish sauce are probably unnecessary in mine but whatever, I don’t want to change things up again.
We love it on wings and ribs. Also tried it on seared ahi tuna where it was phenomenal. Gonna try it out at some point with chicken or shrimp too. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions is a nice touch.

Gochujang is good stuff. Looks like you had a pretty tasty meal.
It's "Smokin Gal", not "Smoking Al".

Thanks! I love cooking the Mahi on the Blackstone. I use the steaming lid to help cook it evenly. Then throw the sauce on top towards the end. Mmmmmm!GATraveller said:That looks fantastic. I need to do more fish on the BS. Thanks for the inspiration!Large - Mini - Blackstone 17", 28", 36"
