$1.97 per lb baby back ribs at Safeway, so, had to get a bunch and make a couple of racks tonight

Not competiton worthy but the fussy teenager in my house eats these like there's no tomorrow so thats good.  Rendezvous dry rub, 6 hrs at 235, then sauced em up and wrapped in foil.  We eat in 30 mins

    Matters not how you get there with those ribs-great score and cook as well. 
    Better to be lucky than good any day.  Congrats on the find and cook. 
    Edit: Rendezvous rub...from Memphis??
    Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.

    @lousubcap, yep mephis   i got a case of the stuff from a neighbor who wnet out there to listen to music.  He got one of the pitnasters to autograph the box for mw.  I have that somewhere...


    These were $5.50 per rack and the enjoyment in get out of them is priceless....
  • Great looking ribs, I’ve got some stocked up for 1.99 a lb. went to grab another rack but SWMBO said “you have 5 in the deep freezer already”. So looks like I gotta do some ribs soon to make some room!
