Heading to Costco shortly. Just out of curiosity what kind of roast is best to turn into pulled beef. Thanks!

I favor any kind of chuck.

Hard to beat for beef flavour and plain and simple goodness.

I use chuck.

No chuck here. How about a round roast?

You'll be sorry if you don't get chuck (also called clod and many other things at stores). I've tried many other cuts and they don't work for pulling to my liking. Ask the butcher for "beef shoulder", he'll know what to get you.
I shop at Costco, you need to ask for it.Packerland, Wisconsin -
Sounds good. Next time I go I will ask. But now the question is what is the best thing to do with this 10lb round roast I just bought before seeing this.ChokeOnSmoke said:You'll be sorry if you don't get chuck (also called clod and many other things at stores). Best single thing you can do with cow. You may never do pulled pork again.

Will will that work with a round roast?
