Man if they have a UT Longhorn one I might actually be tempted to buy it.

    That will limit their sales.

It will get people to buy a skillet that otherwise would never buy one.

It says their "first" collegiate skillet. Assuming more will follow.

I'm sure they have done extensive market research into which knuckleheads alumni are most likely to purchase crap interesting items just because it has the logo of their alma mater to inform their decision making as to which schools will be next.

I'd bet UT Longhorns is right up at the top. :)

I didn't say I would use it. Just that I might buy it. I can think of tons of useless crap that we have lying around our house that was purchased just because.  =)

Tennessee fans will buy that $hit up. Solid marketing decision.

This state looks like the opening day of hunting season from August to December every year with all the orange.

I graduated undergrad there and don’t even own a t shirt...it’s heresy around here. Somewhere in my attic there is a Peyton Manning signed helmet.

Teams win, teams lose. Fans are fans no matter what happens. I’m 20 min from Athens and will always support my team. Was even a fan during the Donnan years. As hard as it was

I couldn’t disagree more. This was a typical late summer in Athens for many years.

@HeavyG I couldn't help but plagiarize your reply to read:

Anything but typical, you must have me confused with someone else. If I made the decisions of who was in charge I wouldn’t have the time to be here. Head held high, fight another day.

But these were Christmas gifts from my niece in Holland who purchased them there from a BGE dealer. These were made in China, sold to BGE in the USA and shipped to Holland!

I assume you’re being facetious. The Lodge foundry is in South Pittsburg, TN as everyone knows.

They've got a really big outlet store in South Pittsburg that I always stop to pee at on my way to Chattanooga. Really great deals there, especially in their "blemished" section which is typically just a factory seasoning issue.
