Well, it's a deal. Not as good as the BOGO deal, but it is a deal.They/Them

Might not do this. I mean, since I have 2 more SRF Blacks arriving today.
Dammit.

Might not be bad if you split it with a buddy. 20lb briskets will warm the ol’ credit card. I prefer the Black over the Gold though. The Gold point is way too fatty for my taste.

I am looking at the culottes as the damage is a whole lot less painful.
Edit: passed the looking stage and pulled the trigger. Never have had that cut.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint. -
It’s a great tasting cut in Choice so I wonder how much better it is as Wagyu. I have a hard time finding it here (and don’t need a 50 lb case from Restaurant Depot). Unfortunately I’m still recovering from Prime Day spending so I’m looking forward to hearing how you like them.lousubcap said:I am looking at the culottes as the damage is a whole lot less painful.

I just rec'd two 16ers black. I think Michael is right, the black is better, in my opinion than the gold. Too much fat in the point for me."Knowledge is Good" - Emil Faber

Black vs Gold SRF, I can appreciate the texture difference. However, for the $$ black every time except National Brisket Day when the sacrificial anode is gold on a one off cook.
