Picked up a Akaushi Ribeye from Salt and Time here  in Austin.

Going Sous Vide then a sear on the Egg.

To hot to be outside so sipping a Manahattn listening to Steely Dan via Alexa.

Day 6 of temporary bachelorhood.

I think i miss her.

That is one mighty fine looking ribeye! Was it graded as prime? I can pick prime NY strips, but for the life of me most ribeye appeared marbled like prime.

I guess my browser had not updated as I had not seen and therefore didn't follow what I thought was your reply about my meat question. Nevermind.

Great cook and a great bottle of wine.....too bad the wife had to miss a meal like that. I guess when she returns, you will have to do it again.

Manhattan, Steely Dan and that CRUST! Oh, how I wish that I were you tonight. What Steely Dan did you listen to?

    Thanks!

I just asked Alexa to play Steely Dan and she plays them on shuffle.

It was a great night capped off by falling asleep on the sofa before I could finish my Maker's mark.

The leftover steak paired well with my sunny-side up eggs this am.
