Finally got around to trying the chicken marinated in Sabauce. It's pricey and not sure it’s worth it but it’s very tasty. The squeeze of lime adds a lot, the pack of crack not so much. Tasted like straight up cumin to me. Also I thought it could have used a bit of salt. Served with harissa cauliflower and great tomatoes.

I have actually never heard of this stuff. It comes with crack? No wonder it’s expensive."I've made a note never to piss you two off." - Stike

Sorry there was a thread about a month ago. I’ll link it.

I've never heard of it either, but the plate of grub looks good.

Thanks, I’m still having issues grilling on the egg. By the time I would get everything turned and shuffled the fire got very hot.

Thanks, I’ve been eating those tomatoes 3 times a day. In the morning 1 big slice with 1 piece of bacon in half and topped with 1 scrambled or fried egg. Lunch is a extra thick slice with Palmetto cheese.

Yeah. Direct. I usually do chicken indirect or grill on the kettle. I will probably go back to it. Today was the first time I had an uneven fire. Not sure why.

To be honest, I’m more interested in the harissa cauliflower. Deets, please?#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX.

I don’t think so on the drippings. I should have stirred the lump before I put the chicken on. One side was hotter.
Cauliflower was oven roasted, tossed with EVOO, 1T harissa, 1t paprika, s&p. 450.
