Joetisserie Bacon Wrapped Cheeseburgers

First crack at burgers on the Joetisserie and I could not be happier about the results. Made thin patties, put cheese on top of one, and put the other one on top and joined them together to create a cheese stuffed burger. Wrapped them in bacon and put them in my flat rotisserie basket. Spun them at 350 until the internal temp hit 350. I was worried they might dry out but they were some of the juiciest burgers I’ve ever had. Will definitely do them again!

Wow, that’s a cool way to cook the burgers. Bet they were delicious!
-
Please tell me that's a typo for the internal temp! I really find it hard to believe that an internal of 350 would be juicy...

@kaybee LOL! Internal temp of 145!!! Sorry!!

Those look incredible

Probably the last thing I would have thought of cooking on the spinner, but it obviously worked well. Thanks for the idea!Cincinnati, Ohio. Large BGE since 2011. Still learning.

Interesting idea - never thought about doing burgers in a rotisserie type rig.
I still want to see someone pull off Joetisserie chili. That's like the holy grail IMO."I've made a note never to piss you two off." - Stike

Hrm... Chili al pastor in a hollowed out pineapple. I wonder if that could be sealed well enough to not leak the liquid contents.SonVolt said:JohnInCarolina said:Joetisserie chili.
