I just got my hands on this one today. By the look of the egg, it's from around 95, and the same old hinges are in the pic. I'm not sure if this manual is older or newer than @beteez ? Pretty cool to look at. I'm fairly sure it had not been read prior to me looking at it today.

This thread made me go look. I found mine from 1993. The back cover shows the address of what I recall was the only place to purchase a BGE - their little store in a strip center on Clairmont Rd. in Atlanta. Regarding lump...the book states that if you can't find it locally (which I couldn't), they'd ship it to you. Recipes were submitted by eggheads and I wonder how many of them are still around and egging today.
