Her comment about women voting is terrible. It’s insulting and degrading to women.
Well, insofar that it implicates a misogynistic, patriarchal environment where women do what the men in their life want, sure.  I agree.

But she is no longer relevant, other than a lesson in what not to do running an election.

The only folks who talk about Hillary are Trump and fans of Sean Hannity.   Nobody else really gives a flying fvck.  So she said something stupid or tripped on a banana - who cares?  She doesn’t hold office and isn’t running again.

People talk about her only because they don’t want to admit how Trump is such a total eff up.  It’s the politics of changing the subject - the only recourse for people unwilling to look the current administration in the face.

    Mamba out.

  • @GrillSgt please explain how any of my comments are deflections. You started this thread, a political one that is satire about House Republicans. Fine, no problem. Hillary is in the news again for being a bobblehead, and again for blaming everyone for her loss. I post about something political that is current, and real, in your thread about House Republicans, but that is a deflection about Trump, who I "worship" as you say. Please pay attention.

And what not to do after an election.

I didn't realize that.  So I went to google news, an algorithmic news amalgamation based on what people are looking at.

    https://news.google.com/news/?ned=us&gl=US&hl=en

    cntrl-f, search clinton or hillary...nufin'.

There can always be something to find about her, though.

  • @nolaegghead, she is like the old SNL skit with the original cast that they say was based on the real life John Belushi, "The Thing That Wouldn't Leave." I do not doubt you that people are not using search engines to get more of Hillary, they simply want her to go away. You are correct that she is irrelevant, as in she has no political capital left, she has zero chance to get the nomination again (assuming the Dems are not braindead) but relevant or not, simply continuing to whine, ****, and moan will hurt Dems in upcoming elections. The more she speaks the better. I am sending her throat lozenges and offering to pay for her flu shots.

It takes a big person to not gloat about a loss for a year, and not complain about it either.

    Anybody But Clinton.
    Sadly, I have to agree.
I completely understand how Cadet Bone-spur took an early lead; with 17 republican candidates the votes were spread pretty thin, but the one candidate who appealed to the "basket of deplorables" (and, sorry, that was a very accurate assessment) immediately grabbed the bottom 20% of the republican party who were racist, mysoginist (sp?), homophobic, islamophobic, and just plain fearful.  He kept that lead as traditional rep donors (see: Koch brothers) abandoned their Chosen (see: Jeb).
By the time the vote got here to utard, Dolt 45 was neck-and-neck to local favorite McMuffin, whom I voted for, while Hillary was trailing both by 20%.  So, I was able to vote against the two worst, but it didn't matter by that time.
We'll probably see a huge shift in both the house and the senate this November, and I'm desperately hoping that Mueller will have 45 locked up for his true business acumen (money laundering for the russian oligarchs) by then; we'll see.

I really don't care if Stormy had an affair with Trump before he was President. To me that is fully unimportant, with the exception that evangelicals who continue to support him have been fully exposed as frauds.

The Daniels thing is only important if campaign funds were used illegally to pay her off.  Even then, in the big scheme of things it seems like pretty small potatoes given all the other potential crimes the guy has committed.

I don't care about his sleazy whoring around, but his pathological lying about everything is not confidence inspiring.

This was passed by most republicans and quite a few democrats.  It was reported on PBS (nowhere else that I've seen) that the bill mostly reduced restrictions on the smaller banks, not the big ones.

Small and medium and from what I have read we should expect bailouts during just a normal downturn. If I can find the article I’ll link it.
