My wife asked for turkey burgers. I obliged. With BBQ sauce, smokey cheddar cheese, bacon, pickles, and caramelized shallots. Side of baked potato.

FYI, ground cooked turkey is not a burger. It is only a burger if it is ground bovine. Just sayin.

Turkey is a very healthy meat. High protein and low fat. The last time I made turkey burgers, I used blackened seasoning and thought they’d turn out dry. I was wrong. Moist and delicious. A great choice for the health-conscious.
