Well, The gal was finally settled home Saturday after the Fest in the garage. I'll spare the 'splainin to the wife for later. It took going to a neighborhood party, ranting about the ceramic spawn from the mothership for 3 hours and gathering 8 folks for the totin' and unveiling but we finally landed. 4AM, 200 beers and 1/2 pint later everybody awed at the green anomaly.[p]Well they went home & I awed some more. Sunday I had the "hangaround" as Justin calls it during the almighty Falcons game but later I gained composure to cook. Being the master of the R2D2 Brinkman this was a no brainer (not that I had much left anyway).[p]3 split chicken breasts (about 30 mins). 350, perfect, plump and juicy. The moisture retention is amazing. Sear marks and internal perfect.[p]2 sausage kabobs w/onion & green pepper (Local store (Publix premade)
* They had the snap like no other [p]Mon:
2 LB Flank steak for fajitas (about 8 minutes total) Incredible sear at 600, med rare inside.[p]2 cheese quesadillas for the kids (4 mins – kids loved em) Perfect steamy cheese and crisp torts-they loved 'em. Although already sold on the grill.[p]Tue: 4 Bubba burgers, 6 chicken satays, 4 Nathan's. Perfect again. Hot dogs swell to perfection & amazement. I was laughing at how good it was.[p]Tonight went out to eat at to Mexican. What a letdown...beer was good but the food wasn't on the Egg. Steaks tommorrow or Friday. Man I need a food log and pictures.
