@RememberTheAlomar Nice Score!! I was wanting see more of that stand yours is on? All the legs on the ones I have seen have been more like a loops on the bottoms? And I have seen a few. Just curious.

This original stock style base was an issue if I remember correctly. They tend to create a stress point or something where the iron is in contact with the hot ceramics and break. The mini used to come with this similar nest. No longer. I'd might look at buying a nest like others have done.

I think some folks have been putting them in a small nest. Not sure, but having some support on the bottom seems like it would be a good idea, long term.

As mentioned, that nest may be hazardous. Not sure if the chiminea fit is the same or if it gets hot enough to expand and cause this, but here's what happens to Minis. This is the one that resulted in the redesigned Mini nest. It's @lowercasebill's egg.
