Alder-smoked ham and chestnut mushroom carbonara

We had some ham left over from the holidays that I'd smoked with alder wood (and applied a coating of chipotle and bourbon sauce, mixed with Dizzy Pig Crossroads). I made some carbonara with it ... it's not traditional but meh. I threw some asparagus in as well.
