Always one of my favorite cooks to do with the family! The first Pizza was made in a 9 inch Cast Iron Skillet and was very good.


Setup:
525 Degrees
Heat Cast Iron on Medium High Heat coated lightly with Olive Oil...just before it starts smoking
Place Dough on Cast Iron
Put Cast Iron back on to the Medium High Heat for another 2 or so minutes until you start to see some bubbles
Place toppings on the top and then place in the oven for ~7-10 minutes
The kids made the second pizza... 525 Degrees on a Pizza Stone. It turned out great too!

The preheat and initial blast of heat in the CI is a slick trick.
Love me some skillet pizza.
