Ready to try some Rockwood but where to buy?

I've been burning Royal Oak Charcoal for the entire 5 years I've owned my Large BGE. I decided today to try ordering some Rockwood. Does anybody sell this in Charlotte NC or will I need to order from the manufacturer? The price appears to be about double what I've been paying at Wal-Mart for Royal Oak.

You can order from Rockwood directly, Ace.com or your local Ace can order in for you.

as for pricing, signing up for Ace rewards helps. Coupons mailed to the house for normally $5 or $10 off

Easiest for me is special order from local ACE. Give them the SKU 8400772 helps them find it in their ordering system. Only takes a few days to show up.

Thanks! I actually bought those shelves off eBay. The seller no longer makes them but I think they were made from bamboo cutting boards.

Ive used it a couple times but typically use RO because i am cheap. But i do see the value and quality advantages in RW hands down.

Blackhawk Hardware in Charlotte is one of our top dealers in the whole country. Not sure their rank--haven't done the year end report yet, but if they're not in the top ten, they're pretty close.

I walked into our local ace hardware in Venice Florida last week, advised I really didn't want to drive the 17 miles up to Sarasota Florida to buy more rockwood.....but that I surely would.....he did his best "bill gates" imitation on his computer and POOF.... They are stocking RW HERE IN THE BOOMING METROPLIS of Venice Florida , population 24179. Currently in nc mountains freezing my keester off with a bag of rockwood.beez I M one smart sob.

Ordered on-line at ace.com on 12/27 for delivery to my local store. Not in yet, but with holidays I'm not worried.

You can order it on acehardware.com for a lot less and still pick it up there.....same day. Or we can ship it to you. Sorry.....have no idea, nor control, of what people charge.

@stlcharcoal - it is Harrison Hardware in Santa Ynez, CA. Ace's website is not very useful in checking order status.
