Meatchurch Holly Cow and Franklin's original sauce. Gonna cook me up some local fresh corn, picked me up some Dill Cucumber salad for the healthy part. Here is how it went.....
Pulled after some pecan smoking, and sliced, sauces and back on for a bit.
plated up and enjoyed.

Both were outstanding...in spite of my inability to spell homage correctly. Actually I was a bit concerned about having enough sauce available as I was taking swigs of it before basting time. Great stuff and really appreciate your turning me on to it. Used the Holy Cow last weekend on a Prime Rib that @JRWhitee brought on a pre eclipse gathering. It has brought home much joy on multiple front now. Also a big winner.Hook_emHornsfan_74 said:How did you like the sauce and rub?Hook_emHornsfan_74 said:How did you like the sauce and rub?Ellijay GA with a Medium & MiniMax

question but I think I can guess the response. Time and temp please? If I recall correctly I've read 285 for about 5 1/2 hours. And I can already read til they probe like buttah. Just looking for a baseline or two so I know what time I have to start mine in the morning. Thanks.

I went about 250 - 260. They were on for about 4 hours. I take a little different approach than most on here. I look for the meat to expose an inch of bone. I pull, cut, sauce and return for about 20-30 min to set the sauce. They are a bit forgiving so just jump in there.Moleman said:question but I think I can guess the response. Time and temp please?
