I work for a sheriff's office. I am the radio system administrator, criminal justice data network coordinator and I sometimes cover 911 dispatch shifts, amongst other things. Basically lots of behind the scenes support duties.

No.....all civilian. I started working at a small flight operation straight out of high school and built up time as the insurance minimums were coming down. Became a full time pilot & mechanic there at age 19 flying tours, aerial photo, powerline/pipeline patrol, charter, etc. A few years later when I hit 2000 hrs, I left to fly EMS, and then flew traffic/news on my off days.
