Some use Simple Green. I wait for rain.
I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

A towel that has been in very hot water (I boil the water) will clean your egg very nicely AND make it shine again.I've slow smoked and eaten so much pork, I'm legally recognized as being part swine - Chatsworth Ca.

Like @Carolina Q I use simple green. Only difference is I use a hand towel to scrub it down too.
I would rather light a candle than curse your darkness.
