Pizza Pie Wednesday

It never gets old to me. Those who say you can make just as good in the oven, (And I mean this in a good natured way) ....you are crazy.

Mushroom, Roma maters, Vidalia Onion fresh garlic with mozzarella and fresh grated Parmesan cheeses. A thin 00 dough.....was outstanding. Tanks for lookin.

Yours is a fine lookin' pie, my friend. Even if you did have to go to all that trouble. :)

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

Dang that's some tasty looking pie!  It's been a long time since I've done pies on the egg. Might have to fix that on Friday.

I never understand why people cook inside when they can be outside. The best part is being outside with a drink in my hand chillin.

    Looks great!

I'll take a well made and composed pizza in an oven over a lesser pizza done on the egg.  What I'm saying is:  make a good pizza.  Sure, you get some smoke flavor and can get hotter in the egg, so with equal pizzas, they can be better on the egg.

I make so many pizzas I just use the oven unless it's a special occasion.  Call me lazy but I cook so much I need to be efficient.

It was the reason I bought the Egg in the first place. I made an approximation to pizza. Then I found this forum and posts like this one.

I started to make "proper" pizza. :)

So go for it bud, you won't regret it.

    Great looking Pizza brother!

We love pizza on the egg......... yes we bake them outside and then eat them outside on the deck. With no A/C here in the mountains the big white clock gets little use in the summer!
