I've been using Lazzari lump charcoal but its pretty smoky, especially on burgers. What do you guys recommend that might be better?

You can buy Wicked Good at Ace Hardware if they are in your area and the Kamado Joe at Costco Kamado Joe road shows ( heard Costco May be going to carry it on a regular basis ) As far as the other comments ..... Another tip for cowboy, try to find the red bag. It's higher in Melamine, I find it imparts more flavor.
