Where to eat in San Antonio?

I spent a great week in San Antonio in February 2016. Best place I found to eat was at the flour mill... https://www.guentherhouse.com/restaurant/ I thought it was outstanding, if a little expensive for what you got. (I suppose we're all accustomed to a rack of ribs for <$10)

Best Mexican, and I tried a bunch of them, is a hole in the wall - nearly literally a hole in the wall local favorite that happens to be across the street from a bbq joint I do NOT recommend. Tito's Mexican. Looks like crap from the street, and you don't know me, but you'll thank me. http://www.titosrestaurant.com/welcome.html

    Indianapolis, IN

BBQ is a celebration of culture in America. It is the closest thing we have to the wines and cheeses of Europe.

Drive a few hundred miles in any direction, and the experience changes dramatically.

@DieselkW Thanks for the response. I love eating at the local "hole in the wall" places. They can be treasures.

Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

I really want to go to San Antonio now. I had forgotten about that   Belgian place which we had discovered the first and only time we've been to SA.
