Like I told the wife "we can get the jeep and do all the stuff you want to it but it would probable be cheaper just to get the Lamborghini"

of that there's no doubt, this thing isn't even my daily driver yet I still find myself at Autozone every weekend buying some random part to keep it on the road.

Just yesterday it developed a new thing, sounds/feels like a midget is hanging from the frame rails knocking on the floor board every time I move as if to remind me he's there.  Going through all the nuts & bolts under there to see if I can find the culprit

Wow! That is a nice ride! One of my friends just bought a white one, a real beauty. She has always wanted one, now that the kid is out of the house it is time. Me, I am just hoping my 14 year old Subaru holds out for a few more years.

    Enjoy!

I watched the first 2 minutes and had to quit. I'm know your driving through beautiful country and I'm envious of your Jeep but I would rather watch bowling than follow the leader in Jeeps.

yup I get it, it's definitely one of those you had to be there situations...  funny too how the video doesn't even half capture how bouncy it is or the actual topography, watching the video everything looks flat

You could WALK it faster than those guys were moving. =)

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

Looks like a fun time. I have been out on a few group rides and they are a lot of fun. I get how it doesn't translate as well to video. They can be a little slow when you are in a line like that. If one guy has to slow down to a crawl then the whole train slows down.

Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

I didn't think it relevant to mention (till now) it was an off-road 101 class, we were in a line of about 12 vehicles, mostly Jeeps & a couple Tacomas, thus the slowness; the instructor was up front in an LJ & we were all in line listening to him by walkie talkie.  Was only my second time off-road & figured it'd be a good idea to learn some stuff the easy way before going much further...

But I have to ask, is your snarky ass comment meant to suggest that a Jeep is incapable of "plowing through there in five minutes", or that Chevy owners are more predisposed to spending 3 hours cleaning mud & crud from every crevice of their ride afterwards?  If I were a bettin man I'd say you're just a fvcking douchebag

And to answer your question specifically, only a lil' bîtch would buy a Jeep and whine about getting it muddy. Sounds like you should be in a Miata.

let me get this straight, your brilliant suggestion is that I buy a plane ticket, fly down to Atlanta, meet you in what, a parking lot or field somewhere so you can, what, shoot me from a bush that, surprise, is really you in cammo?  Or, perhaps you'll fall out of a tree on top of me Rambo style & stab me in the neck?  Maybe a good old-fashioned fist fight?

At the 5:53 mark, I noticed a hippy walk past the parade of Jeeps.  He was wearing flip flops, shorts, and a tank top.
