10.25 pre seasoned skillet for $12.99 on Amazon !
I will season it several times before using it as I have heard that pre seasoning is minimal.
Can I use this on my egg and if so what are the temp limits?

Yes, use it on the Egg. Worse case, extremely high heat, you burn off the pre seasoning.

How 'bout a nice pan pizza? As I recall, the recipe calls for 550°.

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

I don't know of any temperature limits but have not had one fail-I have one that size and cut that handle off at around the necked down taper. Works great and also fits the SBGE-future planning for you

Great addition to your arsenal.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint. -
Just received it today and it is in the oven for its first of several seasoning treatments. I cannot have the eggs stick this weekend or I will get an I told you so from my better half. :-)

Now you have started eggnother obsession.
Uou will find the best CI at yard sales. Good luck -
Lodge works fine. Some people recommend stripping off their seasoning and then seasoning it yourself. I didn't strip it and had some issues and had to start it over later. I really like seasoning with grapeseed oil. Amazon sells a "La Tourangelle, Grapeseed Oil, 16.9 Fluid Ounce" that has worked awesome.Aledo, Texas

That pizza recipe is easy and tastes awesome. You can also pile the toppings on. I have not found a limit to the amount of toppings that can go on it. Leftover brisket and pulled pork go great on top.Carolina Q said:

What issue did you have.Did you season it a few times before starting over. I am on my 3rd seasoning, using Canola oil and heating in the over at 400 for 1 hr. One more today and then I am using it for my first cook tomorrow morning.Toxarch said:Lodge works fine. Some people recommend stripping off their seasoning and then seasoning it yourself. Mine started peeling up after seasoning with Crisco and then a bunch of cooks. That could have been due to high heat and not because of the factory seasoning. You'll probably be fine so don't worry about it.Aledo, Texas
