So about how many pounds of pork butt, brisket, fish, chicken and anus (SGH) have you made this year. Let's not forget ribs, how many racks?
Here's a rough count for me-
14 racks of ribs
110+lbs of butt
45 lbs brisket
2 chickens and a few tenderloins.

Your memory is a helluva lot better than mine. I can barely remember what I had for lunch yesterday.

It only sticks in my head because of the mass quantities I have been buying butt in. 70lbs the first time and just picked up another 100. Just put four partially frozen butts on last night (actually have the wife finishing them up now). We did a few brisket charity cooks. Did a competition, so there were 6 racks for practice and six at the competition, plus a couple for a friend.
Oh, plus a couple of dickles for burnt ends.
Picture if from the last buy, doesn't include the two packages that went into the fridge.

Cooked a tomahawk steak and a few pieces of chicken. But that doesn't add up to much.

No Idea here either but I know I use my grill year round. Rain and all four or five times a week. Pizza, Chicken, Steak, Shrimp, Lobster, turkey, deer and fish. Plus brisket, butts and ribs. Plus I put on BBQs on weekends. On occasion I have both eggs going.

No Idea either but I can tell you that right after I snow blow driveway it's around back to my cookers and they get cleared before I'm done for the day . There is no grilling "season" at my house .I can't keep count and all I'm cooking for is me and my girlfriend when she is here . Guess old age is catching up .

You wait until you clean your driveway before clearing the cookers?sctdg said:No Idea either but I can tell you that right after I snow blow driveway it's around back to my cookers and they get cleared before I'm done for the day . There is no grilling "season" at my house .

I had a sandwich for lunch but I'm not sure what kind. Turkey breast goes on about 4 for tonight. It is around five pounds. Last night was pouring rain around cook time...or was that the night before?

So far heres what ive made:
35 pizzas, 23 on my birthday and 12 the week or so before
Four pork shoulders
15 lbs of home ground sausage
Two loaves of sourdough bread
Two whole 17 lb packer briskets
9 lbs of filet mignon
1 lb of scallops
Twenty whole peppers, some combo of , red green yellow and orange
At least thirty ears of corn5 lbs of shrimp
Ten heads of garlic
Fifteen poblano chiles
Twenty anaheim chiles
9 lbs of chix breast
10 quesadillas
4 each of sliced cantaloupe, honeydew and mango grilled
Ten whole yellow onions
And three 2 lb bags of broccoli florets
Two lbs of smoked mozz cheese for the 23 pizza cook
This is probably it, but im recalling everything i made for parties at home or at a friends house on bge, the minimax use in mexico and family meals ....this also takes into account the depleted stock from fridge and freezer
There are probably a few more but this is what i can remember for now.... -
How in the fork are you all remembering exactly what you've cooked in '17? I couldn't tell you what I cooked 2 weeks ago. I do know that I have been through 150lbs of lump or so.~ John - Formerly known as ColtsFan - https://www.instagram.com/hoosier_egger

@ColtsFan,
Since i work for myself, large food quantlty receipts are kept for tax purposes, ie client entertainment or gifts such as homemade sausage, ribs, etc so ive got every receipt of big meat ive purchased in 2017...
Plus, if something is of interest to me, like cooking, or the jive dialogue from Airplane! Or from Godfather, i have a photographic memory....and...i own it...forever.... -

Thinking a few slices of the sourdough to mop up the juice from the filets along with some shrimp and scallops would do it. -
@Smokin_Trout, that is a capital idea! my kids who act picky but LOVE just about anything off the bge went apesh_t over the sourdough made in 5 qt double dutxh oven. Easiest thing ive ever made with wow factor presentation and flavor results
