    Carp is actually good, when treated right.  The only fish my Grandpa threw in the field when taken off the cane pole, said it was fertilizer, dogfish.  Bullheads, carp, perch, stripers, channel cats, all good here, smoked on the banks of the Rock and Mississippi.

    I'm sure my boy Heavy g, will chime in, educating me on how toxic it was.  :)

    the only thing those carp are good for is keeping the beach clean, i feed them all spring and summer with fermented cow corn, the sand in the lake out front is spotless =) back in school i could get a six of sams for the bigger river carp, not sure what restaurateur was serving those :o one of those on light tackle is a good 20 minute battle
