In cooking, often we implement steps for which we have no explanations other than ‘that’s what everybody else does’ or ‘that’s what I have been told.’ Dare to think for yourself. -

Welcome man. Now get cooking.

Just know the cost of the BGE is the least expensive part of owning a BGE. You have now been warned.
This is a great forum with great folks that are experts on all things which pertain to the egg and any other topic you need skilled direction from.
As had been mentioned before, this is a very cool lifestyle, and I hope you enjoy it as much as we have.

Yes your woo looks ready to rock and roll! I don't have the bge plate setter but you look like your ready for a low and slow with that pic! If you get the extender for the woo it works good to elevate a pizza stone plus more grid space for cooks. Happy cooking!
-
Oh plus it is so nice to lift everything out by the handles to get to your lump! Get some good gloves!
-
Welcome anything you can cook on a gas grill, oven or toaster you can cook on your egg and it is alot more fun!!! And tastes better
-
So just take the plate setter out for doing grilling steaks and burgers at high heat?North Central WV
