Did a couple fillets on the grill grates last night and threw on some veg at the same time. Running 550.

Threw on a chicken at the shop indirect at 400 with suckle busters rub. Meanwhile I threw a rack of SRF ribs on the Weber with the new 100% lump briquettes in the slow and sear. The S&S worked way better with the lump briquettes ribs had suckle busters rub and one coat of finishing sauce. Good stuff all around.

Nice - did your customers get to enjoy some samples?“There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body.”

Lovely looking fillets. Why do you cook the asparagus raised, and with a tray under them?-----------------------------------------------------------------------

They roast. I throw them on at the same time as the meat and they roast indirect as the meat sears direct on the grill grates. I have grilled them in the past, but it is easier this way. Both taste great. I turn the spears away from the direct heat in the center as well. -
Of course! Sold a couple eggs today and the one guy shared some bird and ribs. Lunch is on me!Hans61 said:Nice - did your customers get to enjoy some samples? -
Thanks Ron. I always try to do fairly hands off cooks cuz you never know what's going to transpire. I didn't over indulge as I had to feed the old man and a couple customers. Oh, and the boss had some yard bird too. FYI, it ain't easy having to use all this stuff and try all these rubs and sauces. That's why I have to diet three times a year! Dang it, I was a day early stopping in. Stuff looks great. I spoke with your wife on Friday about those grill grates. Glad your feeling better.

Both of these rubs were impressive. The Hog Whaller rub darkened nicely, but one coat of that finishing sauce really put them where I wanted them. Thanks for lookin!WeberWho said:Perfect color on the ribs. Everything looks super tasty -
