    Admittedly, it was way too many brain cells ago, but I'd recalled that Av's number was 6.023 x 10^23, but the above rounds out to 6.022.  Alzheimer's shades me with her wicked wings....

    Okay, I did a quick search on teh googlez, and many sites quote 6.022, but some do not:

    ^^^ That's what I remember, but it's the day after Daylight Savings Time re-infests us, and my work hard drive died so I had to try to read the AFI on protecting STINFO information so I'm fried at the moment.

    Avogadro's law states that, "equal volumes of all gases, at the same temperature and pressure, have the same number of molecules". For a given mass of an ideal gas, the volume and amount (moles) of the gas are directly proportional if the temperature and pressure are constant.

    this doesn't apply after McDonald's :-)
