APLs Competition Thighs and the fixins

What did you think? I've done these once before and found the rub/sauce combo a bit too much. One of the few APL recipes I haven't repeated.

I rarely serve BBQ sauce as anything but a condiment. As a sauced thigh goes, I thought it was pretty good. At least good enough to inspire me to try more saucing in the future.

as for detailed thoughts on this recipe, I agree I thought it was a little over seasoned. I suppose he warns of that in his book, though. He mentions that as a competition recipe, its a little over flavored to make that one bite an impactful one
