Broken Minimax

As stated above eggs purchased at sams have zero warranty. I see you as having two options here. First is return it to sams and get a refund. Or the other is if this was "a great deal or a steal" it may be worth it to purchase a new firebox from a dealer and then that part will have a warranty.  If it was a good enough deal I would go with the second option. But if not take it back get the money and put that towards a MM from a dealer so u can get the warranty. Also take note and check out a joe JR at Costco as they come with a warranty. Either way good luck.

Is Sams like Costco with their return policy?

Costco takes anything (except electronics) back anytime. You can bring stuff back years later, and they'll take it back.

Sam's isn't quite as good as Costco, but they're pretty good.  Considering it's still mostly packaged, they will likely take it back.

I was wondering what ever came of this. Thanks for the update.
