New here. Anyone can recommend Yeti vs RTIC?

It would appear that She has crabs. Also not sure why you posted a high dollar portable toilet?bgebrent said:
This is the cooler you recommend?DoubleEgger said:I guess the real question is whether or not you want to be labeled as a scumbag on an online grilling forum.

I have a Ford cooler. I work on it every day, it is old, and I just do not have the heart to get rid of it. It is the Eddie Bauer edition. Keeps food cold in the winter, and hot in the summer. It holds a lot, and is much larger than Matt's Duke Chevy cooler he posted earlier."Knowledge is Good" - Emil Faber

I hear the styrofoam coolers at the grocery store that are on top of the freezer/refrigerated section are the best ones money can buy.1 LBGE. Winder, GA

@bgebrent, first of all, welcome aboard. Enjoy the journey and be prepared for some wallet genocide. Just remember it's all about the journey, not the destination.
Since you're brand new around here and all, I would recommend doing a search for topics that you have questions about. There is a search button at the top right of the home page, or you can add egghead forum to a google search. I would recommend searching for topics like sugar gliders, braised brisket, or tree rats to get a good foundation on how best to use your egg.
Most of the people here are very helpful and never sarcastic. However, I wouldn't pay any attention to the ones that have over 9000 posts. They tend to be old and set in their ways.
There is a guy here that has some opinions about Yeti vs. RTIC. His name is light or lite or something like that. You could ask him.

Thanks again everyone for all the helpful information. I think I'm going with this Yeti. I like the oversized handle and the instructions sticker on the front. Thanks again and thank you Mr. Griffin.Griffin said:I love my Yeti cooler!! Best that money can buy. Or is that the most money you can spend?

@bgebrent There's been what seems like a huge increase in coolers, Blackstone, and Anova threads.
I think they're just filling the gap left by the political threads. Maybe it's time for a "Trump's doing great" thread?

Hell, I could manage a Hilliary 2020 thread better than these lame cooler threads. They're insulated plastic boxes mostly that all perform respectably. But again, I don't have to read them right? At least SV and BS posts tend to involve cooking. Anyways. Making America Great Again would be better served up Friday evening I believe.blasting said:bgebrent said:I hope someone else will start another cooler thread!! They're the best.

We have a Pelican and Yeti...not much different in keeping items cold and ice lasts about the same. Difference Yetti has 5yr warranty and Pelican a lifetime. My Pelican work cases retired with me after 27 years of service and look none the worse for wear, except the one I backed over,,,the plastic is a little rough. No damage done to the 5 grand Fluke housed inside.

So a few months back I customized the finish on my cup (my daughter has the same one.)
Today I see a cup that has a similar finish to mine on yeti's splash page. Maybe a lawsuit is in order...

Rtic is about to have to redesign everything from the yeti lawsuit. I bought up some more on sale
