@blasting yes I use it for recipe ideas and while it's a novelty I like connecting via Bluetooth to my mobile phone :-)

We have an Electrolux fridge. It's a souped up fridgedaire. Once you know the model, you can order the fridgedaire parts at half the cost.

I believe the idea was you would set your food in an ice water bath in the morning then later trigger it remotely to start cooking. I also believe the lawyers asked a few food safety questions and the feature wasn't implemented.

It's fun to get an alert at work that my Anova is ready, and wonder what the wifey is cooking for dinner.

I use the little blue wheel on mine. Works like a charm.

Hopefully the electrolux version will have .1 degree increments. My steak is either to raw at 132 or overcooked at 132.5.

I would really like to see a $50ish model with no bluetooth or wifi. I just want to set the temp and walk away.

I can see that coming. The app seems to have value for those that need to reference cooking temps or are forgetful, like me. i have the precision one, and a list thumbtacked on the wall of temps. Very old school.

Big Fan of a "PRECESION" cooker! If they can't get the spelling right on the box, I don't wanna trust my $50 steak w it!
