Seems to me it makes more sense to march in Washington than perhaps Toledo, or maybe Flagstaff.

Rational voices of dissent are the American way. The freak show that marched through Washington was counterproductive.

    "Freak show" - really?

  • I guess if you don't like what a protest is about, making fun of the protesters is your only recourse.

Sounds like someone needs to teach these women a lesson, right teefus???? I dont know where these women are getting this empowerment from, but it needs to stop already.

... women were marching in those places too!

Some of you seem to have missed the part about the woman with purple hair and dressed like a vagina lecturing on human dignity. if you wish to lecture on human dignity (and please do), do it in a dignified manner.

And if you don't agree with their politics then you make fun of their personal appearance, family etc. amirite?

Ok.  The concept of dignity is, to some degree, "to express the idea that a human being has an innate right to be valued, respected, and to receive ethical treatment."  If we are to infer that those that are marching are doing so because they do not see themselves as being treated with dignity, not being respected, or valued, it is safe to say that they are both marching, dressing as vaginas, and dyeing their hair to make themselves visible to a population that is not valuing them, much as you are now.

By the way, calling them freaks and not debating their argument with respect perpetuates their feeling, makes them march more, and is classified as a logical fallacy called ad hominem.
Infer what you choose. I imply none of what you suggest.

I think you need to stop your own suffrage for the sake of women.  ;)

    I miss the Man Show.
  • There are many women on this forum, and even though I know my way around the kitchen, I also kick some a$$ in my professional life.  So please stop all the whining about the ladies standing up for what they believe in.

Why? You certainly are entitled to your opinion. The amount of political posts is getting a little out of hand [IMO] but then again no one forced me to open this thread. Don't delete it, own it.
