Would appreciate some advice. Is this kind of brush advisable for the grill? https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0167ZORB4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_aKwDybW94S339
I threw my wire bristle brush away for fear of swallowing a piece of METAL DEATH. And I'm tired of using a ball of foil.
It looks a lot like the official BGE brush (which in the U.K. Is obscenely expensive.) thanks

I don't have any experience with that. I use a Billy Bar and have been pleased with it.Stillwater, MN

I've used one before, but went back to the Weber. They are fairly inexpensive to replace annually. $10 @ Amazon.

I much prefer wooden ones to prevent the broken wire issues. You can buy them or make them quite easily like mine here.

I'm also very happy with my Billy Bar - Don't know if it is available in the UK, but here is their web page

I use a good sized putty knife and the good ol fire to clean the cooking grates. Ball of foil for the dome interior once or twice a year. FWIW-Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.

It seems to be OK to use a brush as long as you replace it at least once every two years.

Never had any problems making sure bristles don't end up on the grate. If the grate is clean, it can't stick... -
I have one that uses those type of replaceable scrubbies. They work grate.TheToast said:Would appreciate some advice. Is this kind of brush advisable for the grill? https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0167ZORB4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_aKwDybW94S339

Actually, they do work well until it snags on some part of the grate and then they tend to start falling apart.“Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.” ― Philip K. Diçk -
Thanks everyone!
