Looking for a BGE Chimnea Base

I'm on the hunt for a BGE Chimnea base. I have all the other pieces, just need a base in good condition. Anyone have one or know where I can find one?

I believe I read that a large egg nest works better. Others can confirm.

I think he may mean the big round bit that keeps you seperated from the firey bits.

I would rather light a candle than curse your darkness.

I think most of the ceramic parts are still available. We ordered some for a customer last year. It did take several months to get it, but we got it. They likely make them when they are between setups. Check with your local dealer. If no luck, let me know and I will see what can be done. Location?

So, Pete, could @Jeremiah finally get a chimnea that he seems to so desperate to find just by ordering replacement pieces? I can just hear Johnny Cash singing "I got it one piece at a time..."

I don't think so. He could get some of it I think. The ceramic pieces. Could be good enough I suppose, but it won't be a polished product with all the bells and whistles.

Have your dealer call their distributor. They made need to ask for both the old and new part #'s. BGE is done with the alpha part # system I believe.

The new system part # is: 401342  (Old # was CHIMB)

Their are some that still have Chiminea parts in their inventory.
    It worked for me.

@Hotch I have a base, but the glaze has began to crack and break away. I've tried to touch up with paint and it's just got worse. It should be a warranty item, but I was told they don't make them anymore. I'm in the Houston, TX area. I'm going to call the mothership on Monday to see about them honoring the warranty, assuming one is available. I also don't mind buying a new base if needed. @pgprescott I sent you a message.
