First run on my 3 tiered rack for my Large BGE

My wife got me a 3 tiered rack from the ceramic grill store for Christmas and some new seasonings to try out so we used Meat Church Honey Hog and Chicken Sh*t.  I only used two racks for my first run along with the ceramic stone in place as well to cook indirect for 10 lbs of chicken wings.

Im very excited to start being able to cook elevated in the dome, it helped give a good crust to the chicken. Looking forward to making some pizza soon in the dome. The extra space definitely helped in smoking 10 lbs of wings. Forgot to take a complete pick. It was raining and I was hungry.

Very pleased with with the quality of the construction of this setup.

She is. She bought the egg for me last Christmas and has fully supported it since. Valentines, birthday, Christmas have all been heavily BGE accessoried. CyberQ, Joetisserie, 3 tiered rack, smokeware cap, the briner large and jr, lots of seasonings. She may have had a few "hints" but she is fully bought in and supportive.

Looks like a delicious treat ahead!

Suggestion: Cover that stone in foil, or get the metal form from CGS to form a foil drip receptacle over, and your stone will thank you.

I've really enjoyed it. I got the whole Sh*t Load. I've only tried Good Sh*t and Chicken Sh*t so far but we have really liked them  first saw them at a gas station outside of Waco and had to try Good Sh*t since the name made me laugh. I would add it to your store, if it were my choice. Great conversation piece, tastes great, and gives a good laugh.

I'll foil it. I was thinking about needing to do that when it started so clean. Thanks for the advice.

Adj rig setup and rig extender provide you with incredible capacity expansion.
  • Does the stone come with it? Is the stone the third tier or is their a third cooking grate? I need something for multi-level cooking so interested in this and any other ideas out there?

The stone came with the setup we bought. There are all kinds of variations to it to purchase based upon what you want at ceramicgrillstore.com I do have a third grate too. Just didn't have it on this cook.

I understand the reluctance based upon that. Not the seasoning you set out at your church picnic. Probably why I found it as a gas station.
