That's a nice price. Thanks for the heads up. Will be checking my local Walmart. Hopefully it's nationwide"The pig is an amazing animal. You feed a pig an apple and it makes bacon. Let's see Michael Phelps do that" - Jim Gaffigan

Isn't that the grill top accessory that fits on your regular gas grill. Not the full free standing unit?Marshall in Beautiful Fruit Cove, FL.

Not sure. But I think it may be an accessory that converts a Blackstone griddle by adding a grilling grate with some kind of grease pan underneath.Jeremiah said:Oh wow. What the hell is that?
The 28" free standing Blackstone Griddle is $161 if I understand the Walmart web page correctly.
I would love to see a photo of what the OP purchased.Marshall in Beautiful Fruit Cove, FL.

I'd imagine it's this one he picked up. It's been on sale for $99 in the past:SaintJohnsEgger said:

That would be a great deal for $75. The thing I found on the website wasn't a very good deal.
May have to visit my local Walmarts tomorrow.

Seems to be an in store buy only. The store I went to lists the price as 75 online but when I click to purchase it comes back as 161. It may even vary from store to store.SaintJohnsEgger said:That would be a great deal for $75. The thing I found on the website wasn't a very good deal.

I posted this in the other Blackstone thread:
Walmart appears to be clearing out the 28" Blackstones. Use this site to check local inventory and pricing as the prices are not the same online:
http://brickseek.com/walmart-inventory-checker/
SKU for the 28" is 36323162
And at least one store near me has the 36" for $150. SKU 39891191
Good luck!

I think I found the 28" for $50 and the 36" for $150. Is the 36" worth an extra $100 (I think that's the regular price difference between the two anyway)? Two Large Eggs, 6 gal Cajun Fryer, and a MiniMax in Charlotte, NC - My New Table

I've heard people say that the 28" has more issues with hot spots when comparing to the 36". The local Walmart has 23 in stock for $50 but they couldn't locate them anywhere in the store. So make sure you call first to make sure it's in stock and actually available. I tried to get another Walmart to match their own Walmart price but said they wouldn't. Go figure. I'd buy two or three for $50 and give them away as gifts if you can find them in the actual store for $50HofstraJet said:I think I found the 28" for $50 and the 36" for $150. @NPHuskerFL The 23 didn't seem right. With Walmart being Walmart I called before making the trip over. I'm glad I did. They couldn't find it. The first lady on the phone said she would go check the pharmacy. I told her to save the time and skip that section.NPHuskerFL said:@WeberWho Wow! Talk about being "off" on inventory numbers.
She than asked her manager. He said he'd go check the cooking section. I told him to skip that section.
I told him it's with the grills. 15 minutes later he comes back and said he's checked everywhere for it and they definitely don't have 23 of them. He thinks they are sitting in a different warehouse waiting to be sent back to the main Walmart hub.

If the Walmart is close by then I would show up and do my own search. Don't trust the searching ability or the interest of the Walmart employees.Marshall in Beautiful Fruit Cove, FL.

One way to have Walmart check inventory is to purchase online for in store pickup. They will adjust the price to the store price if lower than the website price at the time of pickup. Two Large Eggs, 6 gal Cajun Fryer, and a MiniMax in Charlotte, NC - My New Table

I asked them yesterday if we could buy it for $50 and have one shipped to the store. They said no. It comes up as $50 at their location but changes to $160 in cart. I don't get Walmart

It all depends on who you get. I can get a 28" for $99 on my lunch break. I found a 36" that's closer to home for $150 that I can get after work. The quantity shows -1 though.. going to call after posting this and confirm if they have it.I posted this in the other Blackstone thread:

My question, is there an advantage to go for the 36" over the 28"? I mean it's just me most of the time, and occasionally my girlfriend. Is the difference just the size?
Anyone feel free to chime in! -
In order to get it at a low price in the store that does not have it in stock, you need to buy it from a store that does have it in stock and then go to the store that does not have it in stock and return it at the store and then repurchase it immediately at the return desk. They will usually do it, but sometimes not.
I just did it and got the 28 for 50. Trying to find a 36 in stock in my area. Two Large Eggs, 6 gal Cajun Fryer, and a MiniMax in Charlotte, NC - My New Table
