@Lit still loving the backwoods? Using it in stick burner mode often?
Still learning mine, it might be shutdown for a while as it's been cold here in the PNW.

Unless it has changed Florida law requires them to honor the ticketed price.
I agree I dated a girl in college that worked at a department store and people would walk around with a red pen and mark down prices and she was told they had to honor them. It was bad enough they had security watching out for it.
I believe this is totally false. There are distinctions between intentionally deceptive advertising and obvious human error. Some companies may choose to do the WRONG thing for PR purposes, but I would be surprised if they are required to do so. It is a different matter if they advertise a "bait and switch"  scenario.
    This.

"Bait and switch" is far different set of rules than a pricing mistake.  That's where they use some sort of deal [that doesn't really exist] to get people in the door, then try to sell them something else (usually at a higher price.)

Most big box stores have a disclaimer board somewhere near the customer service counter that spells out the stores rules.  There's always one about pricing mistakes, another about ejecting "secret shoppers" with cameras if they want to, etc.  Usually any newspaper or junk mail flyer says something similar in small print "Quantities limited, no responsible for typos, sale may be ended at any time, coupons may not be redeemed for cash or resold, etc."

Amazon, Walmart, etc all have them in the user agreements as well so even if you purchase something online, they charge your card, they can still cancel the order.  Walmart had one a few years ago with some $500-600 electronic item they sold for $10.  There was a mad rush, WalMart cancelled the orders, then people got all butt hurt and started a boycott.

For some reason it sticks in my head there are a few states that have stricter laws about prices tags......comes down to the state's weights & measures board.  All I can think about is the scene from My Blue Heaven when Steve Martin goes into the grocery store, steals the pricing gun, then buys a whole cart full of steaks for $12.

Not as much lately been busy getting ready for kid #2. Wanted to use it for ribs last weekend but it rained all Sunday so I used the xl. I pretty much only use it as a stick burner that's where I have seen the advantage over the egg. You tried running yours as a stick burner yet?

At least I'm not committing fraud.. Lowes made a mistake, not me.
I like busting balls just like most do here in jest.  But, why do you call this fraudulent?  Because it's not the original owner?  Dude.  Here's a scenario...you have 2 or more eggs, die and they are willed to your kids.  Egg breaks due to normal usage. Q: Is it covered?
    A: Who cares! Your dead.
Don't be too serious it's a freaking BBQ forum :peace:

@Lit You sell that thing yet?  Betcha @The Cen-Tex Smoker would have sold it and been on his second glass of Woodford by now
Quit stalling and sell it ....receipt and all
Pretty sure it's gonna be gone this weekend. Guy coming Saturday morning that already has a large and hasn't tried to lower the price.

^^^^Awesome news man!  FWIW I was just bustin' your chops in regards to price.  Hell I'd try to get as much as I could too.  Again congrats on your upcoming 2nd baby.  Your baby girl is growing up fast.  Get ready for those sleepless nights.  Enjoy all the "moments" they fly by!  Our little baby boy is already 22...seems like yesterday he was killing my feet with Lego's
